The Bruins are hot on first day of All Star proceedings.

There are only two players taking part in the All Star break for the bruins. Phil Kessel and Zdeno Chara. In the 30-minute long YoungStars game, Phil Kessel scored a hatrick and helped the Eastern Conference to a victory in what was a fast paced multi-goal game with 4-on-4. Following the YoungStars game was the SuperSkills competition which saw the best of the NHL compete at different activities. Zdeno Chara easily won the fastest shot competition where he hit 100.4mph. The final score for the All star game was 12-9 with Zdeno Chara scoring two goals for the East. A good rep for Boston.
