Hot Stove, Cool Music.

After recovering from a brain aneurysm in June, baseball analyst and fan favorite Peter Gammons was on stage playing his guitar at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. What started off as a joint venture by Gammons and Jeff Horrigan, has now become a twice annual event occuring in the summer and winter. The main beneficiary of the event was the 'Foundation to be Named Later' which is a branch of the Red Sox Foundation set up by Theo Epstein. The RSF and other local charities have recieved $1.5million from the event's six year history.

Gammons was joined by pitcher Lenny DiNardo and Theo Epstein on stage while playing with the All-Stars, proving the state of his health and recovery since he was hospitalized in the summer. "I get asked 50 times a day 'How do you feel?'" Gammons said. "So, this is my answer." After missing last year's summer event, Gammons was glad to be back in the lineup so quickly, as were the rest of the evenings performers. Rock on Pete!
